Technical Team Leader - Low Voltage Installations

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee low-voltage system installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting (structured cabling, security, access control, automation).
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Conduct system tests, diagnostics, and performance evaluations.
  • Manage and mentor technical teams for efficiency and best practices.
  • Collaborate on custom solutions with engineers, project managers, and clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and technical records.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, guiding the team.
  • Coordinate logistics and ensure equipment availability for installations

Candidate Profile

  • Namibian citizenship.
  • BTech in Mechatronics or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in low-voltage system installations.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in managing technical teams.
  • Proven track record of successful installations and project execution.
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, security, and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and work with a team.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site installations and support when required.
