Technical Team Leader - Security & Access Control

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the technical team for security and access control installations.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of security systems (alarms, CCTV, biometric access, surveillance).
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing team guidance.
  • Conduct system tests, diagnostics, and regular maintenance.
  • Train and mentor technicians in best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate on designing and implementing custom security solutions.
  • Maintain accurate reports, documentation, and client records.

Candidate Profile

  • Namibian citizenship.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in security and access control system installations.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successful security system installations.
  • Certifications in alarm systems, CCTV, access control, or related security technologies.
  • Strong technical knowledge of security hardware, software, and networking.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead and work with a team.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site installations and support when required.
